, | Games

Christmas is coming! If you still have a gift to get for that special gamer gal or guy, Quarter to Three is here with ten holiday suggestions. These are all items for sale now, (no pre-order hooey) and they’re all affordable. We’ve done our best to pick items that are easy to get as well, so you won’t have to stand in line for hours or scour the hidden recesses of eBay for rarities. Any of these gifts are sure to please!

Check out Santa’s list after the jump!

10. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Leaf Tickets

Animal Crossing was always about waiting and grinding. The new mobile version just puts it all out in front and makes no bones about it. Get your phone addict some Leaf Tickets to mitigate some of the waiting.

9. Injustice 2 Mother Boxes

“Mother Box” will never not be funny.

8. Battlefield 1 Supply Crates

There’s no reason for cosmetic skins in Battlefield 1 since everything gets covered in mud or dust in seconds, but the game’s loot crates sometimes includes squad XP boosts. It’s the gift you can share!

7. Destiny 2 Bright Engrams

Does anyone really need these? No. Did I need that countertop deep fryer? No, but I damn well accepted it anyway. Gifts aren’t about what you need.

6. Middle-earth: Shadow of War Chests

You could conquer a million orc warlords, or you could just buy your way to a legion. One loot chest to rule them all!

5. Call of Duty: WWII Supply Drops

Press X to capitalism.

4. Assassin’s Creed: Origins Helix Credits

Will your wiz-bang photo mode images get a million likes if you aren’t wearing the glow-in-the-dark Ezio armor? Better safe than sorry.

3. Overwatch Loot Boxes

You can get that epic Mei skin if you keep trying.

2. Magic: The Gathering Booster Packs

Kick it old school with some physical card packs! At least you’ll get something real to hold or trade.

1. Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Rubber Bands

You can’t buy Battlefront 2 loot crates with real money since Electronic Arts turned off that option, but you can idle all day for credits to buy crates. A couple of rubber bands on your controller will do the trick. No one else will mind that you’re wasting a slot on your team by idling. Honest.
