Qt3 Games Podcast: goodnight, sweet Vigil

While Tom is away on a secret mission (THUNDER DOME), Josh Bycer from Game Wisdom and Kenneth Oum from Smug Bee Games join Jason this week. The conversation jumps from THQ to how Super Monday Night Combat kind of sucks but also kind of doesn’t – and beyond! Don’t tell anyone, but this show was done totally nude.

I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but I really, really want Vigil and its properties to find a new home soon.

I want more Darksiders, and I want the Warhammer 40,000 title they’ve been working on for years.

I was pretty surprised that Vigil wasn’t picked up. The Darksiders games are pretty cool and I think there’s a lot you do with that license.

I’m listening to the podcast now from my secret mission — nice job, guys! — but I just wanted to let drop this little tidbit: if you liked Resident Evil 5, you’re going to seriously dig on Dead Space 3.

I want to play Train Simulator Narrator Abuse and Space Janitor.

You should listen to the GW podcast on Friday. The three of us stumbled upon the next exciting leap for train simulating.

I think it is time Nintendo jumped on board the Train Sim market and came out with a coal shoveling simulator. Take your little wiimotes and shovel coal from the wiiu controller into your tv (or vice versa) to power your old steam engine locomotive. The more you shovel the farther your train goes. Hours and hours of nonstop action.

I wonder what will happen to the Homeworld license. I hope Sega will pick it up and give Relic something to work on after CoH2.

That would fit well with their focus on the casual– casual labor that is.

Then they can create Miiverse labor unions.

Good luck at the kumite! We’ll be cheering for you.

    What is the music from?

It’s this weird a cappella group called The Bobs. Found one of their tapes when I was a kid. Was reminiscing the other day and found this. One hell of a “Bird on a Wire” cover.

    I agree. Thanks.
