Did Activision Wainwright this IGN Black Ops 2 review?

The above IGN video review of Black Ops 2 was originally posted here, where there is now only the crater of a legal threat from Activision. Fortunately, it was reposted for your viewing pleasure. However, if you look closely at the score at the 3:18 mark, you’ll see the video review is obviously a fake. There’s no way Black Ops 2 is anything less than a 9.4 at IGN.

    But this video also breaks so many taboos that I can understand it was taken off. Being it making jokes about handicapped people, about being gay or mixing swasticas into toys. No idea where they stand legally but I guess for asking youtube to take the video down they had multiple easy options.

    I can’t help but partially agree with the nerd rage. The main reason for the “low” score according to the reviewer was that Halo has not become COD. I respect his right to not like the game but that just strikes me as a terrible reason for not liking the game.

    If I was the IGN review editor and was three days away from retirement, I’d post that as the real BLOPS II review and let the chips fall where they may.
