Hey ArenaNet, something is rotten in the state of Guild Wars 2

Because I love Guild Wars 2, this is a column I don’t want to write. But because I love Guild Wars 2, this is also a column I have to write. And it’s long overdue.

    This will get worse with the unusually high awards being handed out in the mad king’s labyrinth zone. I predict the place the champion mob spawns will be so choked with bots soon you won’t be able to actually see the combat.

    The last few days I haven’t seen any bots. Maybe the latest wave of banning has thinned them out a bit? I spent a few hours in the mad king area yesterday, no bots there that I noticed.

    There’s a response, of sorts from Colin Johanson, regarding bots, posted in more or less in response to your Gamespy article:

    It’s already been nerfed to only give rewards once a day.

    I get what you’re describing, but I’m not sure what problem the gold farmers are causing?
