Your Daily McMaster: The Silence of the Wrath of the Lamb

The Binding of Isaac is a disturbing roguelike shooter based loosely on the Bible story for, uh, the binding of Isaac. It’s also one of the most creative and addictive games I’ve played in years. Now it has DLC.

It’s basically Atic Atac but in a basement. I love it.

Expansion apparently launched pretty buggy as expected. It seems it also makes the game far easier, with some extremely overpowered items, which is dumb. This is just going of what people are saying though, haven’t played it myself yet.

If anything, I’ve found it even harder with the new enemies and challenges.  Yes, there are now items that will buff more than one skill at a time, but you’re also dealing with very fast enemies right on the first levels, more spawners, more shooters, curses, etc.  Plus extra challenge modes if the traditional game is still too easy.

Absolutely a great game, and it was already patched a few hours after release.
