Qt3 Movie Podcast: Silent House

Silent House is the latest remake of a foreign horror film, made for Americans who can’t be arsed to read subtitles. Naturally, we’re all “well, it wasn’t as good as the original Uruguayan film” blah blah blah. At the 33-minute mark, we discuss our favorite animal moments in movies.

Next week: 21 Jump Street

Unexpected Qt3 Movie Podcast for a movie I saw by chance.  Joy.  Looking forward to seeing how abused the 3×3 is this week.

edit didn’t realize it’d post my stupid facebook picture. I am ashamed.

Clearly not ashamed enough, as it’s still your FB picture. :-P

For what it’s worth, I don’t know if using a key to lock a door from the inside is a cultural thing.

If the door is solid, a single cylinder deadbolt is fine (one side uses a key, the other uses a latch). If the door has panes, it’s not very secure to lock it with a latch. An intruder can just bust out the glass, reach in and unlock the door. So, if the door in question had windows, it should have required a key to lock.

All my windows lock exclusively from the outside.   Initially because I misread assembly documentation at the furniture store but now just because I’m trying to unload a lotta stuff.

    Don’t you live in Greenland?

There you go, I was wrong. It is cultural. And now I know 100% more about the culture of Greenland than I did before I woke up this morning.
