Things to do in Skyrim before you’re dead

So I got to play Skyrim. Actually play it. Jump in and run around and do whatever I want and stuff. I can’t verify anything about dragons, but I can assure you “here there be giants”.

    The cities are separate from the main world again? That’s disappointing – it’s one of the worst things about Oblivion (in large part because it was almost certainly the impetus behind removing things like Levitate).

    How long did you spend creating your character? And did you find a nice flowery dress to wear whilst walking around in the city?

    I suspect that no matter how much they rewrote and how much they are calling it “new engine”, this is still a gamebryo limitation that they will not get around until they build new engine from scratch or switch to new one completely.

    Probably has more to do with RAM limitations on the consoles than a general engine limitation. After all, they did write a lot of the rendering components from scratch.
