For me the bigger news was that True Crime: Hong Kong got cancelled! Tom how about a post about that? Seems to me everyone is ignoring this..

Is there any chance that True Crime: Hong Kong gets resurrected? Is there any chance Rockstar or THQ take their franchises outside of the US?

It is probably safe to assume that GTA V and Saints Row 3 will revisit Miami or California.I love the open world genre, but god does the States feel played out. One of the reasons that I love the Assassin’s Creed series is the unique setting. True Crime: Hong Kong looked like it was bringing something different to the genre darn it!

Come on Tom, how about it?

Oh, I’m definitely bummed about True Crime: Hong Kong being cancelled. Although developer United Front Games is an independent studio, True Crimes is an Activision property, so they can’t just shop it to another publisher. I just didn’t mention it because I didn’t have a funny picture of Bobby Kotick smirking while hoisting a True Crime banner over his shoulder. :)

What does this post even mean?

Bruce, Guitar Hero died last week. Activision announced they were retiring the brand.

But on the other hand, Harmonix is free of Viacom/EA and can do what they want now.
